Class Questions
How long will it take me to advance?
There is no set time period for level progression. Students develop the strength at different paces according to their individual body types and fitness levels. Generally speaking, once a student demonstrates that she can capably pick up and support her own body weight without straining, she is ready for the next level of training. A student’s graduation to aerial level classes is at the discretion of the instructors.
How many students are in each Pole Kittens class?
It depends on the class. Some classes are limited to 4 students, and others 8 students. When you schedule a class, you’ll see how many students can attend each class and how many slots are still available.
How long are classes?
PoleKittens classes are typically an hour, except for Cardio classes (45 minutes) and workshops, which run about 90 minutes.
Will I actually get a workout from Pole Kittens classes?
Definitely! Pole dancing and pole fitness aren’t as easy as they look. Our workout classes were created with fitness as the focal point. The AlphaKitten Method® ensures toned physiques and upper-body strength. Although classes are fun and conducted in a relaxed setting, emphasis is put on attaining personal fitness goals and promoting individual improvement.
What should I wear to my class?
Each class has its own clothing and footwear requirements. This information will be listed in your confirmation email. But generally…
- Students should wear a short-sleeved shirt or tank top, and the proper bottoms and footwear according to the class description.
- Heels are always optional.
- Do not wear rings, bracelets, and watches – the poles can damage your jewelry.
- No lotion or moisturizers. Lotion makes proper execution difficult and makes the poles slippery and unsafe for use.
